Training Of 3rd Call CIG Officials

The UTaNRMP will be funding 719 community groups under the 3rd call for proposals to implement UTaNRMP supported projects totalling to KShs. 532 million. Out of this, KShs. 389,599,874 will be funded by UTaNRMP and KShs. 142,197,173 will be from community contributions (cash, labour, material). To ensure effective implementation and sustainablity, the UTaNRMP is training 2,157 community groups management committtee officials on Administration of matching grants, Group Leadership, Conflict management, Community contribution computation, Procurement of goods and services, Financial management,Financial record keeping, Expenditure control, Monitoring and Evaluation & Report writing. The goal of the training is to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of the funded community projects.
