Funding

Upper Tana Catchment Natural Resources Management Project (UTaNRMP) is funded by Government of Kenya (GoK), IFAD, Spanish Trust Fund and  the Local Community. The total project cost is US$ 68.845 million and it will be implemented within a period of 8 years from 2012 to 2020. The donor funds is a loan to the National Government on a highly consessional terms with a service charge of 0.75% per annum with a maturity period of 40 years including a grace period of 10 yearsstarting from the date of approval of the loan.
