The Upper Tana Catchment Natural Resources Management Project (UTaNRMP) had the pleasure of hosting the IFAD president Dr. Alvaro Lario on Tuesday 2^nd May 2023. The IFAD President was accompanied by the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture And Livestock Development Hon.

UTaNRMP was invited to attend the inaugural ASAL Conference organized by the ministry of Devolution and ASALs (State Department for Arid and Semi-Arid Land) in Malindi between 4th -8th Sep 2018 at the Ocean Beach Resort and Spa.

IFAD’s Vice President Ms Cornelia Richters visited the Upper Tana Natural Resources Management project (UTaNRMP) on 23^rd May 2018.

Annual Work planning and budgeting is a key project activity since it allows the project to plan and manage its financial resources to support the implementation of its activities.

The Upper Tana Natural Resources Management project (UTaNRMP) is in its 4^th year of implementation and consequently at mid-term. The IFAD/GoK Mid Term Review (MTR) Mission for UTaNRMP was held between 19^th June 2017 to upto 28^th June 2017.

The Upper Tana Natural resources Management Project has been selected as among the top three in the Service Delivery award category in the first ever Devolution Warrior Awards organized by the council of governors.

The Upper Tana Natural Resources Management project (UTaNRMP) has acquired 39 motor vehicles, 73 motor cycles and 7 tractors at a cost of KSHS.220,609,471/-. These assets are meant to assist the various project implementing ministries, departments and agencies in project implementation.

In an effort to define its image & brand, the upper Tana Natural Resources Management Project (UTaNRMP) project ran a logo design competition that was open to the general public.
