Woody biomass survey

This study is scheduled to be conducted in the 2014/15 financial year. It will set to establish the number of trees in the project region, the composition of trees in the project area by species, where in the farms these trees are planted, what gains communities get from the trees and other dynamics of tree farming. The conclusions from the woody biomass survey will be of great importance to the project during the planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring and evaluation process in its endeavor to arrest land degradation and poverty alleviation by means of tree planting within the project area.
