The Project Lead Agency is the Ministry of Water and Sanitation. The project area covers six Counties namely: Muranga, Meru, Tharaka-Nithi, Nyeri, Kirinyaga and Muranga. The area includes Mount Kenya and Aberdare National Parks.

The Upper Tana Natural resources Management Project(UTaNRMP) invited all eligible and qualified firms including those owned by Youth, Women and Persons with Disability (YWPD) to submit expression of interest (EoI) for purposes of pre-qualifying tenderers of goods, works and Services for the period 2018/19FY. The deadline for submission was July 11th 2018. This is the list of prequalified firms for the various categories for the 2018/19FY.
UTaNRMP intends to utilize a portion of its funds to support placement of two experienced and self-motivated drivers to work at the Project Coordination Unit (PCU) based in Embu County. The Successful candidates will be serving on one year contract, renewable annually for the period of the project subject to satisfactory annual performance assessment. The candidate must be a medically fit, Kenyan citizen and a public servant working in any of the implementing Ministries, Departments and Agencies or the six counties where the project is being implemented. The Project wishes to invite eligible and qualified firms including those owned by Youth, Women and Persons with Disability (YWPD) to submit sealed applications for purposes of pre-qualifying suppliers of goods, works, Services and consultancies for the period 2018 – 2019 under the categories listed in the attachments provided. The instructions to Tenderers, prescribed formats, evaluation criteria, are provided along with this EoI document. Duly completed EOI documents in hard copy should be submitted to the project using the provided address or drop-off point on or before 10:00 AM on 11th July 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
