UTaNRMP advertised for the 3rd call for proposals from community groups for civil works grants to support the implementation of civil works activities in June 2017. The call targeted specific Focal Development Areas (FDAs) within the project area. The Water User Asssociations (WUAs) and Community Based Organizations (CBOs) submitted proposals to the project and after a rigorous desk and field appraisal and approval by Project Steering Committee and IFAD, some groups qualified for the support in implementation of their proposals.
The list of the successful groups per county and the approved approximated cost of the proposed activities is as per the attached lists. However, it is important to note that the approximated total budget per group may vary depending on the detailed design and market conditions at the time of tendering for the goods and services and during implementation of the projects.
Water Users Associations and Community Based Organizations whose names are not listed in this notification should consider their proposals unsuccessful for funding under the 3rd call for proposals.
